Our seat is in Torroella de Montgri which is centrally located in the Costa Brava, Catalunya, Spain region. Our members range from Roses in the North to Sant Feliu de Guixols in the South. We are situated approximately 70 kilometers north of Barcelona and 70 kilometers south of the French border. Our part of Catalunya is one of the most beautiful places in the nation of Spain.

Membership: Our membership is about 400 at the present time. It is 80 percent from the UK and 20 percent from the rest of the world with about 27 different nationalities. Our language is English. We have existed as an organization for 12 years now and our membership fee is 14 euros per year.

Interest Groups: We have an excellent website which shows all about our 40 plus groups which include many walking and cycling groups, gardening, history, local interest, Spanish conversation, music and book lovers, wine groups, family history studies, global travel, arts and craft groups and many more.

We are actively seeking to get involved with other U3A groups and will be having a joint conference with the U3A of the French Pyrenees in the near future.
